About this site

宗教的治療の文化人類学ネットワークは、様々な文化圏における宗教的治療やスピリチュアルな治療と、それらの比較分析に関心がある研究者のネットワークである。各々のフィールドの宗教的治療やウェルビーングに関する実践と経験や、病院などの生物医療の関係に焦点をあて分析し、そこから得た知を広く発信することを目的とする。このネットワークは文化人類学を専門とする研究者に留まらず、様々な専門家と分野横断的に関わりながら推進していくことを志している。

The Religious Healing Anthropology Network involves researchers interested in religious and spiritual healing from a comparative perspective. We aim at enhancing research and disseminating knowledge about practices and experiences of religious healing and wellbeing. We are interested in the interactions between religious healing and biomedicine from a cross-cultural perspective.
We welcome collaborations also with specialists beyond socio-cultural anthropology and promote initiatives to stimulate such interactions. See below to get to know more about who we are and what we do.
